Hello! I recently went on a date with my boyfriend in Jamsil, and there are so many places to enjoy throughout the dayㅠㅠ. My friends kept recommending it, so I went with some skepticism, but once I was there, I understood why everyone recommends a date in Jamsil!

Jamsil is perfect for a date course because it has convenient transportation and a variety of attractions and food options. Especially with the complex cultural space centered around Lotte World Tower, you can enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Now, let me introduce the top 3 Jamsil date spots that I personally visited and highly recommend!

1st Place: Lotte World Tower & Lotte World Mall

Lotte World Tower is literally the sanctuary of dates! It's the tallest building in Korea with 123 floors and 555 meters, and you won't have a moment of boredom even if you stay all day. With a shopping mall, observatory, aquarium, and various restaurants all in one place, it's perfect for a date regardless of the weather.

I arrived around 2 PM, and there were already a lot of people. But once I got there, the space was so large that it didn't feel crowded. I recommend booking Seoul Sky online in advance! Especially during sunset, it's very popular, so it might be difficult to purchase tickets on the day.

I had a coffee time at Kim Young Mo Bakery on the 5th floor while enjoying the view of Seokchon Lake, and the atmosphere was amazingㅠㅠ. If you sit by the window, you can see Seokchon Lake at a glance, making it a great spot for photos. Especially in the evening, the tower lights reflecting on the lake are truly romantic.

2nd Place: Seokchon Lake

Seokchon Lake is an urban healing spot boasting beautiful scenery all year round. The night view with Lotte Tower in the background is especially romantic, making it a hit with couples! The lake's circumference is about 2.5 km, and it takes about an hour to walk around leisurely.

"When I went around 7-8 PM, the lights of Lotte Tower reflecting on the lake were truly fantastic. Perfect for taking life shots!"

It's famous for cherry blossom festivals in spring, cool lake breezes in summer, foliage in autumn, and a snow-covered lake in winter... It's beautiful no matter when you go! There are many benches around the lake, making it great for a leisurely walk with breaks, and there are cafes and convenience stores everywhere, so you can buy drinks or snacks and enjoy your time.

I especially recommend the eastern walking path of Seokchon Lake! If you take photos from an angle where Lotte Tower is directly in front, they turn out really great. At night, the lake fountain operates, creating an even more romantic atmosphere.

3rd Place: Songridan-gil

Songridan-gil is a trendy food alley known as the Gyeongridan-gil of Songpa. It developed rapidly after the completion of Lotte World Tower in 2017 and has now become a must-visit date course for couples in their 20s and 30s!

It's only a 5-minute walk from Seokchon Lake, making it great to visit in conjunction. There are rows of unique cafes and restaurants, so choosing where to go is a happy dilemmaㅎㅎ. The street isn't very long, so you can take a walk around and enter a place that catches your fancy.

I went on a Friday evening, and there was a bit of a wait. But it was worth the wait! Most places really come alive after 6 PM, so don't go too early. I recommend going around 5-6 PM, having a cup of tea at a cafe, and then having a proper dinner in the evening.
