Finally Visiting Gapyeong Glamping After a Friend's Constant Recommendation

The weather has been so nice lately, so I went to Gapyeong Liz Valley Glamping! I went with a friend for a 1-night, 2-day trip..!

As soon as we arrived, the refreshing sound of the valley made me feel good! Oh, and we booked it for 180,000 KRW for four people on the weekend, and it was surprisingly cost-effective.

Right in Front of Eobi Valley, Never Seen a Valley This Close!

I heard Liz Valley is on the Eobi Valley branch, so I thought it would be close, but it was right in front! We stayed in room 15, and there were stairs leading down to the valley right in front, so we could constantly hear the sound of water.

Maybe because it rained, the valley water was clear and really nice. We had a great time playing in the water and felt completely healed! Dipping my feet in the cool valley water made all the stress from the city disappear.

New Swimming Pool Opened This Summer!

But it wasn't just the valley; a new swimming pool opened this summer! It was well maintained, so when the valley water was too cold, we could enjoy the pool.

There was even a small sand playground and a large trampoline for adults, making it a great place to bring kids.

Glamping Facilities, Just Like a Pension

The inside of the glamping was really clean! It had a refrigerator, air conditioner, and gas stove, just like a pension. The sleeping area and dining area were separated, so there were no worries about bugs.

A wide variety of kitchen utensils were prepared, so all we needed to bring was ourselves. Various sizes of pots, cutting boards, and knives were all clean and ready!

BBQ Time, Enjoying Leisure in a Private Space

In the evening, we grilled meat in a private BBQ space, and it was really delicious! The BBQ aroma was so good that the time spent gathered together was precious.

On the way, a local lady gave us corn she grew herself, and it was really sweet and tasty. I realized this is what the taste of nature is!

Convenience Facilities Neatly Managed

The washing area was really well maintained. It was the first time I saw a camping site with a spin dryer! The store had simple items like ramen, instant rice, gas, water, cider, and cola, but there were large convenience stores just a minute's walk away, so you could buy anything you needed.

Healing Time Under the Starlight at Night

At night, looking at the sky full of stars and chatting with friends was truly perfect camping. The site spacing was quite wide, so we could relax quietly without being disturbed.

Accessibility and Nearby Attractions

It was about a 30-minute drive from Gapyeong Station, making it easily accessible from Seoul. There were tourist spots like the Garden of Morning Calm and Petite France nearby, making it perfect for a 1-night, 2-day trip.

"I understand why someone wrote, 'I was so satisfied that I added another night's stay as soon as I arrived.' It was so great that I want to come again next time!

Honest Overall Review

Who knew there was such a hidden gem of a glamping site in Gapyeong! The advantage of being right in front of the valley, the clean facilities, and the reasonable price. Especially for water activities in the summer, it seems like the best place.

It's great to come with couples, families, or friends. You can fully enjoy healing in nature, and I'll bring another good review next time!
