Hello~ Today, I want to introduce you to a really special place! It's the main branch of Cheongdonok in Hongdae, which a friend kept recommending, and I finally visited. It was so amazing that I wondered why I hadn't gone sooner.

At first, I was half excited and half worried because it was selected for the Blue Ribbon for four consecutive years... Isn't this a gourmet meat course? I was completely moved!

How about the location and accessibility?

The location is on the first floor at 10 Jandari-ro 6-gil, Mapo-gu. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hapjeong Station, so the accessibility is really good! It's not too far from Hongdae Entrance Station either, making it convenient to use the subway.

The exterior of the store is very luxurious. It has a clean and modern feel, making it great for dates!

An Atmosphere That Was Different from the First Impression

As soon as I entered, I felt that although it didn't seem very spacious, the clean and luxurious atmosphere was definitely different! Especially, seeing the aging meat on one side was fascinating and gave me more trust.

The seating distance was wide, making it perfect for company dinners. In fact, there were quite a few teams having company dinners while I was there!

Finally, the Meat is Here! Is This Visual for Real?

I ordered the premium set for three, and the moment the meat came out, I couldn't help but say 'Wow~'. Is this really pork? The marbling was great, and the thickness was incredibly thick!

Especially the Donmahawk was truly overwhelming. Who knew the meat attached to the bone would be this thick... It's a visual that meat lovers can't miss!

One of the biggest advantages of Cheongdonok is that the staff grills the meat for you! At first, I thought 'Is it necessary?', but once I tasted it, it was completely different.

The degree of doneness and the direction of cutting were done so precisely that it felt like they were maximizing the taste of the meat. The juiciness and the charcoal aroma when you bite into it... It really made me say 'Wow'!

It's Not Just the Meat That's Delicious!

Cheongdonok is not just a meat restaurant; it's a place where you can enjoy a full course. The perfect combination of meat + yukhoe + cheonggukjang + bibimbap!

Especially the yukhoe was really fresh and delicious! The yolk was so firm that it slipped right off. Eating it with seaweed made it taste even more luxurious.

And the cheonggukjang! I was really surprised by this. How can a meat restaurant make it taste like this? It was so rich and delicious that it seemed better than a cheonggukjang specialty store!

The Special Details

Everything felt meticulously cared for. They even served bottled water, and the ventilation was perfect, so there was no smell when you left after eating meat!

How's the Value for Money?

Honestly, the price is on the higher side compared to regular meat restaurants. But considering the quality of the meat, the service, and the overall setup, I think it's quite reasonable!

Especially since the staff grills the meat for you, you can focus entirely on the conversation, making it great for company dinners or special occasions.
