I've been curious about Goms603, which I've been seeing often on Instagram lately. Especially since my colleague kept recommending it, saying, "The value for money is insane," I finally went there with a friend after work on Friday!

About a 5-minute walk from Eonju Station? It's located on Nonhyeon-ro, and it was easier to find than I thought. I can't believe there's such a value-for-money restaurant hidden in the heart of Gangnam!

An Unusual Atmosphere from the First Impression

I felt it as soon as I walked in. The interior was sophisticated yet comfortable. There were interesting posters everywhere, making it fun to look around.

It was almost full of office workers, probably because it was Friday evening. Everyone seemed to be having a company dinner, so we naturally joined in, haha.

A Place with Fun Menu Choices

The menu was really diverse! The steak platter seemed to be the main dish, but I was surprised by the price. With this quality, it would be much more expensive elsewhere...

This is what we ordered:

• Beef-Focused Platter (38,600 KRW)
• Arugula Shrimp Aglio Pasta (18,800 KRW)
• Goms Signature Highball (9,000 KRW) 2 glasses
• Grapefruit Ade (6,000 KRW)

The staff recommended that one platter would be enough for two people, so we only added one pasta dish.

This Is What They Mean by Insane Value for Money

The food came out... Wow, the portion was enormous! True to its name, the Beef-Focused Platter was packed with meat. It included steak, sausage, and shrimp, offering a variety of options.

We asked for the steak to be cooked medium, and it was perfect. The outside was crispy, and the inside was juicy, just like what you'd get at a high-end restaurant. My friend and I kept exclaiming, "Is this really in the 30,000 KRW range?"

The Arugula Shrimp Aglio also exceeded expectations. The shrimp were plump, and the bitter taste of arugula paired perfectly with the savory garlic oil. The pasta was cooked al dente, just right!

The Highball Is a Different Story

The Goms Signature Highball was really to my taste! It wasn't too sweet, was clean, and had just the right alcohol content, making me want to keep drinking it. My friend said, "This is addictive," and ordered another glass, haha.

The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious, so we lost track of time. The office workers at the next table also seemed very satisfied.

Honestly, Some Downsides

No place is perfect. If there's a downside...

There might be a wait. We were lucky to get in right away, but since it's a popular place, it might be a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation.

Also, the parking space isn't ample, so I recommend using public transportation. It's close to Eonju Station, though!

It's accessible as it's near Eonju Station, making it nice to take a walk towards Cha Hospital Intersection after a meal, and it's close to Nonhyeon-dong Cafe Street, so you can take care of dessert too!
