A True Gem in Bundang Recommended by a Friend

I had been curious about Udaepo, which I often saw on Instagram lately! I finally visited.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Seohyeon Station Exit 4? It's on the first floor of the Antown Building. The deep blue sign really stands out. I went around 2 PM on a Saturday, and there was already a waiting line. As expected, a good restaurant is one where you have to wait in line...

Store Atmosphere and First Impressions

As soon as I entered, I thought, "Wow, this place is really clean." The store was more spacious than I expected, and the tables were well-spaced, which was nice. The deep blue interior, Udaepo's signature color, felt refreshing and modern.

The staff were all very friendly, and the ordering system using a tablet on the table was convenient. Since it was my first time, I didn't know what to order, but the staff kindly explained everything to me.

Menu Selection and Ordering Process

After much deliberation, here's what I ordered!

• Marinated Beef Ribs (19,000 KRW)
• Diced Flower Meat (32,000 KRW) - the one Tzuyang ate!
• King Ribs (38,000 KRW)
• Spicy Mixed Noodles (8,000 KRW)
• Cheese Bomb Steamed Egg (8,000 KRW)

The marinated beef ribs came out first, and at first glance, I thought, "This looks really delicious." The marinade was truly amazing. It was sweet without being overwhelming, and the natural flavor of the meat was still there...

Diced Flower Meat - Truly the Meat of a Lifetime

And finally, the diced flower meat arrived! I understood why Tzuyang praised it so much. It was so tender that I gasped at the first bite. It melted in my mouth but still had a satisfying chewiness, which must be the charm of flower meat.

The staff grilled it for us and did it perfectly. They said, "This is the best," as they placed it on the plate, and it was truly a divine move. Dipping it in salt really brought out the flavor of the meat.

The Impressive Size of King Ribs

The king ribs truly lived up to their name. The size was no joke, haha. My friend and I were busy taking pictures, exclaiming, "These are real king ribs." The texture was tender, and the meat was juicy, making every bite a delight.

Side Dishes Were Also Top-Notch

The spicy mixed noodles were also really delicious. I ordered them to cleanse my palate while eating meat, and the chewy noodles with sweet and sour seasoning went perfectly with the meat.

The cheese bomb steamed egg was truly a bomb, haha. It had so much cheese that it was more like cheese stew than steamed egg. It was perfect for Instagram, and the taste was really good too.

Value for Money and Service

Honestly, at first, I thought the price was a bit high, but after eating, I realized it wasn't at all. Considering the quality of the meat, it seemed like a good value for money. Compared to other Korean beef places, it was cheaper and tasted much better.

Places to Explore Nearby

Located in Seohyeon Station Rodeo Street, it's great to visit a cafe after a meal, and Megabox is nearby, making it convenient to watch a movie. My friend and I had a perfect course with meat at Udaepo followed by dessert at a cafe!

Honest Overall Review

It was really delicious! Especially the diced flower meat, which I don't think I'll ever forget. I now understand why Tzuyang praised it so much. Next time, I think it would be nice to bring my parents.

The only downside is that there's a bit of a wait? But it's definitely worth the wait. If you want to eat beef in Bundang, I highly recommend Udaepo!

Next time, I want to try the lunch set. My friend said the lunch set is also a good value. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, haha.
