Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant in Songdo, Cua Songdo Branch

At 2 PM on a Saturday, after a walk in Songdo Central Park with a friend, we set out for lunch. We decided to visit Cua Songdo, which recently gained attention after being featured on tvN's '줄서는 식당'!

It's located in the commercial building of Prugio Worldmark 7th Complex in Songdo 1st Zone, making it easy to find. It's about a 17-minute walk from Incheon National University Station, so accessibility is good.

The Reason Behind Its Popularity and Wait Times

There was already a wait, probably because it was lunchtime. I thought, 'This must be the restaurant praised by Park Na-rae.' After waiting for about 20 minutes, we finally got in!

The interior was decorated to give off a strong Vietnamese vibe. Various Vietnamese sauces were displayed on the walls, and there were bar-style seats that made it comfortable even for solo visitors.

Astonished by the Deep Flavor of Broth Boiled for 10 Hours

We ordered the basic pho (Bun Bo Nam Bo). The moment I tasted a spoonful, wow... I thought, 'This is the real taste of Hanoi!'

The broth, which was boiled for over 10 hours, had a really deep and rich meat aroma, but the aftertaste was clean. It was definitely a different taste from the pho I usually had, capturing the authentic Vietnamese flavor. The chewy pho noodles perfectly complemented the broth.

The Charcoal Grilled Aroma of Bun Cha is Exceptional

We were told to try the Bun Cha as well, so we ordered it additionally, and it was truly a delicacy!

The meat grilled over premium charcoal had such a wonderful charcoal aroma that it almost brought tears to my eyes. Eating it with fresh vegetables and dipping it in cold pho noodles, the tangy yet savory taste filled my mouth.

Ingredients Sourced Directly from Vietnam

According to the staff, they use ingredients sourced directly from Vietnam. Perhaps that's why it felt like I was really there.

There are various menus like Banh Xeo (28,000 won) and Cua Signature Set (35,500 won), so next time, I want to come with friends and try several dishes together.

A Perfect Course with Central Park

One of the biggest advantages of Cua Songdo is its location. It's right near Songdo Central Park, making it a perfect course for a meal after a walk.

Parking is free for 2 hours, so visiting by car is convenient. Enjoying the beautiful scenery of Central Park, where the Korea Coast Guard is located, and finishing with delicious Vietnamese food seems perfect for couples or families.

200% Willingness to Revisit

I was so satisfied to experience the taste I had in Vietnam again in Korea after such a long time. It truly deserves to be featured on tvN's '줄서는 식당'.

Next time, I definitely want to try Banh Xeo, and I'm curious about the Wang Galbi Pho too. I highly recommend this place to those who love Vietnamese food!
