Yongin Yangji Limegrass Cafe - Enjoy Bakery and Healing by the Fire in a 5,000-Pyeong Large Garden
Finally Visited the Yongin SNS Hotspot 'Limegrass'
The cafe that frequently appeared on Instagram for a long time! After seeing the Limegrass photo sent by a friend, I thought I must visit someday, and coincidentally, I had a plan to go on a trip to Yongin over the weekend, so I decided to drop by. I found out online that it's a bakery cafe with a large garden of 5,000 pyeong, which made me even more excited.
On a weekend afternoon with perfect autumn sunshine, I headed to Yangji-myeon, Yongin, escaping the city. Limegrass, which I reached after passing through a slightly winding road, had a spacious parking lot, so I could enter without worrying about parking.

The exterior of the cafe exceeded my expectations! The white modern building with stylishly designed glass windows blended beautifully with the surrounding garden, creating a stunning landscape. It felt like being at a resort abroad.
Enjoying the Autumn Garden View from the Wide Glass Windows
As soon as I entered the cafe, I was amazed by the view of the garden through the high ceiling and glass windows. The sense of openness was incredible, something I hadn't felt even in large cafes. Even though it was crowded on the weekend, the space was so vast that I could sit by the window.

The interior was simple yet sophisticated. It was neatly decorated with white tones, and small plants here and there added a lively atmosphere. Especially the main table in the center, designed in a curved shape, was very stylish.

The Joy of Choosing from a Variety of Bakeries and Menus
Before ordering, I browsed the bakery display, and there were so many varieties! Even though I'm not a big fan of bread, each one looked so delicious that I couldn't decide. Especially the breads shaped like carrots, sweet potatoes, and apples were so cute. I thought kids would love them.

After much deliberation, I ordered the Myeongran Baguette and Onion King, which are famous as Limegrass's signature menu, and the Pumpkin Matcha Latte. My friend chose the cafe's signature Black Sesame Latte and Chestnut Pastry.

Delicious Signature Menu and Comfortable Relaxation
When I received the menu, it was much better than I expected! The Myeongran Baguette had a crispy exterior and a soft interior, generously coated with Myeongran sauce, offering a savory taste. The Onion King had a surprisingly addictive taste with the sweet onion flavor and savory cheese.

The drinks were also really delicious. The Pumpkin Matcha Latte perfectly blended the sweetness of pumpkin with the bitterness of matcha, and the Black Sesame Latte my friend ordered had a rich black sesame flavor. I was surprised by the quality of the drinks, despite it being a large cafe.

Enjoying the bread and drinks while looking at the garden view outside made me feel at ease. Unlike cafes in the city, I could leisurely chat without feeling rushed by time.
A 5,000-Pyeong Garden and a Special Healing Space
After enjoying the drinks and desserts, I went outside to explore the garden. The real charm of Limegrass is its outdoor space, which is beautifully arranged.

The garden, which shows different appearances each season, was starting to be tinged with autumn leaves, and many people were enjoying coffee at the outdoor tables. We also sat at an outdoor table for a while, enjoying the autumn sunshine.
In one corner of the garden, there was a glamping zone and a fire pit zone. The fire pit zone, which operates from 5 PM to 10 PM, is a space where you can have a campfire in the evening. Next time, I want to visit in the evening to enjoy the fire pit!

Various Spaces and Things to Enjoy
The cafe is divided into the first and second floors, with the second floor operating as a no-kids zone. It seems to be a safety measure since you need to use stairs and there's an outdoor terrace. However, the meeting room for group guests can be used by children if accompanied by a guardian.

Limegrass is operated as a complex cultural space beyond just a cafe. On one side of the cafe, there's an exterior showroom of the landscaping company 'Lime Place,' and space rental is also available, making it a good choice for gatherings or special occasions.
Promise to Revisit
Even though it was my first visit, three hours flew by. Limegrass was definitely a space where you could heal without realizing the passage of time. Every element, from the delicious bakery and drinks to the beautiful garden, was satisfying.

Next time, I want to try the brunch menu and visit in the evening to enjoy the fire pit. Since it shows different appearances each season, it has become a place I want to visit all year round. If you have a chance to go near Yongin, make sure to visit!
