Insta hot spot, finally made it to 라스트춘선 문정점!

I’ve been seeing 라스트춘선 on Insta all the time lately! Friends kept recommending the 문정점 in particular for its pretty outdoor seating vibe, so I finally went with my boyfriend on Friday night. It’s located in the 엠스테이트 빌딩, about a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of 문정역 on Line 8.

Heart-fluttering vibes from the first impression

The vibe was great even before stepping inside! There’s a big mirror at the entrance perfect for a selfie, and as soon as you walk in, the soft lighting and modern interior catch your eye. The outdoor seating area was especially pretty—if the weather had been a bit warmer, we would’ve eaten outside, which was a bit of a shame.

The interior was roomier than I expected, with just the right spacing between tables for conversation. Overall it felt like a hip penthouse—perfect for a date!

Went prepared to wait in line, but...

We arrived around 7 p.m. on Friday and, thankfully, there was no wait! It felt like if we’d been even a little later, we would have had to wait. The staff kindly guided us and explained the menu in detail, which was nice.

The agony of choice—happily so

As soon as we got the menu, indecision kicked in! There were so many options—hot pots, grills, and bar bites. We ordered the most popular items: 한우 모츠나베 (30,000원) and 항정삼합 (28,000원).

The drink selection was massive—from traditional liquors to sake, highballs, and wine. We went with 복순도가 makgeolli and an Earl Grey highball. Apparently the Earl Grey highball is a 라스트춘선 signature.

The dishes finally arrived—beyond expectations!

The 한우 모츠나베 came out first and wow—it was amazing! It was generously packed with 한우 daechang, and the beef bone broth was rich and deeply flavorful. I loved the signature chew of the offal, and above all, there was zero gaminess, which surprised me.

The accompanying veggies were fresh, and we added udon noodles at the end and finished every drop of the broth, haha.

The 항정삼합 was truly a work of art! Many places use pork belly, but here it’s pork jowl, so it was even more tender and nutty. The wrap greens—lettuce, perilla leaves, garlic, etc.—were fresh, and the house ssamjang was fantastic.

Drinks were stellar too! The charm of diverse traditional liquors

The 복순도가 makgeolli was sweet-tart—a flavor many women would love. The ABV was moderate, so it was easy to drink, and the Earl Grey highball was truly unique! The Earl Grey aroma was subtle, and it paired with the whiskey better than expected.

I noticed many other tables were having cheongju or yakju, so next time I definitely want to try more traditional liquors, too.

How’s the value for money?

To be honest, it’s not cheap. Just what we had—한우 모츠나베 30,000원, 항정삼합 28,000원, plus drinks—came to around 80,000원 for two.

But considering the ambiance, food quality, and service, it felt totally worth it. It’s perfect for a special-date or anniversary spot.

Visit tips & practical info

Especially during outdoor-seating season, I recommend reserving an outside table in advance! On a nice day, dining outdoors would be next-level.

Nearby spots to check out

Since it’s near the 문정동 Legal Town area, there are plenty of nice cafes around. There are cocktail bars and cafes within walking distance for a second round, so it’s great for building a full-day date course.

In particular, the 엠스테이트 빌딩 around 문정역 has quite a few good eats. Beyond 라스트춘선, it’d be fun to explore other spots, too!

Honest overall verdict

Overall, we were really satisfied! The food was delicious, the vibe was great, and I especially loved being able to try various traditional liquors. It was just as pretty as it looked on Instagram, and the photos came out great—so satisfying!

That said, the price can feel a bit heavy, so I recommend it for special occasions. I definitely want to go back and try other dishes next time—especially 곱도리탕 and 정춘선 샤브나베.
