"Honest Review of the Top 3 Trending Seoul Date Spots I've Personally Visited"
Are you looking for a good place to date in Seoul?
Hello! I'm a 27-year-old office worker who roams around Seoul every weekend, haha. Lately, my friends keep asking me, "Where's a good place to date in Seoul these days?" So, I'll introduce you to my TOP 3 places that I was really satisfied with!
In fact, there are really many dating spots in Seoul. But when you actually go, it might not meet your expectations, or there might be too many people... We've all had those experiences, right? That's why I chose very carefully this time. These are truly recommended places considering atmosphere, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness!
1st Place: Seongsu-dong Café Street - The True Charm of the MZ Generation's Holy Land

The first place is definitely Seongsu-dong Café Street! It's really a hot spot these days. At first, I was like, "What's so great about Seongsu-dong?" but once I went, I was completely captivated.
First Impression: Wow, this is the famous Seongsu-dong!
When you get off at Seongsu Station and walk around, every alley is filled with pretty cafés. Especially since there are many remodeled old factories, it feels very hip. My friend and I laughed, saying, "We feel like total Instagrammers," haha.

The Fun of Café Hopping
The biggest charm of Seongsu-dong is café hopping. You can have coffee at one place, dessert at another... You can spend the whole day like this. The day I went, it was raining, which added to the atmosphere, and chatting while listening to the rain in a window café became a really good memory.
Cost and Accessibility
The coffee is a bit pricey (Americano 6,000 won~8,000 won), but I think it's worth the atmosphere. And it's easy to get there by subway, so it's not burdensome. Parking is a bit difficult, so I recommend public transportation!
2nd Place: DDP Dongdaemun Design Plaza - The Ultimate Night View Date

The second place is DDP Dongdaemun Design Plaza! The night view here is truly amazing. It's good to visit during the day, but it's a completely different world in the evening.
7 PM, the Time When Magic Begins
At first, I thought, "What's so special about DDP?" but the moment the sun set and the lights turned on... I was truly breathless. It felt like a building from the future. I went with my boyfriend, and we both were speechless, just looking around, haha.
The Fun of Exhibition Viewing
Another charm of DDP is the exhibitions. When I went, there was a Dior exhibition, and even my boyfriend, who wasn't interested in fashion, was like, "Wow," while looking around. The course of viewing the exhibition and then coming out to see the night view was really great.
Admiration for Architectural Beauty
DDP is a really unique building. It's fascinating from any angle, and there are endless angles for taking photos. Especially at night, it's fantastic because of the LED lights. I highly recommend it for those who want an Instagram vibe!
3rd Place: Hangang Park (Yeouido·Banpo) - The Classic Seoul Date

The third place is, of course, Hangang Park! It might be cliché, but it's really a place that's good every time you go. Especially in seasons like now, it's truly the best.
Different Charms Each Season
Hangang is good anytime, but it has completely different charms each season. I went when the cherry blossoms were blooming in spring, and it was really beautiful. I remember spreading out a picnic mat, ordering chicken, and chatting away.
Various Activities
The good thing about Hangang is that there's a lot to do. You can ride a bike, take a walk, or just lie down and look at the sky... You can have fun all day without spending much money.
Romantic Atmosphere
Hangang is especially romantic in the evening. The lights across the river twinkle, and the breeze is cool... It seems like a perfect place for couples. The cost-effectiveness is also top-notch!

Honest Overall Review
I've been to all three places, and each has its own charm. Seongsu-dong is the hottest place right now, so there are a lot of people, but there's also a lot to see and it's fun. DDP's night view is truly outstanding, and Hangang still seems to be the best dating spot in Seoul.
Personally, I think you can choose based on the season or mood. On a sunny day, Hangang; on a rainy day, Seongsu-dong; on a special day, DDP... something like that!
